Summary of Women's Health Registered Nurse - RN - OB, L&D RN

We are currently hiring qualified Women’s Health RNs to join our team! Candidates will receive a highly competitive salary based on experience, and will also be eligible for our outstanding benefits package. Relocation assistance is provided for candidates needing to relocate to the Cody area!

The Registered Nurse will have prior experience in labor, delivery, nursery, and/or postpartum nursing care. The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patient’s served on his/her assigned unit.

Responsibilities of Women's Health Registered Nurse - RN - OB, L&D RN Includes

Perform admitting assessments, review history, and develop a plan of care Initiate fetal heart monitor, perform vaginal exams, interpret fetal heart tones and determine frequency and intensity of contractions Monitor progress of laboring mothers Assist mother and labor coach with breathing exercises, pain management techniques and administer pain medication as ordered Prepare mothers for elective or emergency Cesarean Section by following C-Section protocol Document nursing care properly on chart forms, birth certificates, and computer
