CANCER REGISTRYJob Summary: Accurate and complete casefinding, abstraction, follow-up and reporting of info relating to diagnosis, care, and treatment of cancer pat! ients to Cancer Data Registry of Idaho and the Commission on Cancer. Also works with the Cancer Committee preparing statistics and reports and assisting with other projects as needed.Requirements: CTR certified required. Knowledge of ICD-O and ICD9-CM coding is highly desirable.
Must have strong background in medical records with an emphasis on Cancer Data Registry systems and process. Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with hospital and medical staff. Demonstrated professionalism and continued professional growth. Personal Computing Skills.
