Position:
Auburn Crest Hospice is seeking a dynamic nurse with a great personality to oversee the healthcare staff of our Boise, Idaho branch. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right person to lead a dedicated nursing staff committed to delivering exceptional care to a complex population. The Director of Nursing provides both administrative and clinical oversight for the agency, h! elping to provide direction and leadership that will ensure co! nsistent, quality services. Qualifications and Experience:
1. Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed to practice in the State of Idaho.
2. Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, preferably in a Home
Health/Hospice setting within the past five (5) years.
3. Ability to manage all aspects of terminal care with expertise in pain and symptom
management.
4. Demonstrated skill in administrative performance, including expertise in both written
and oral communication, supervision of staff, documentation requirements, service
coordination, and case management.
5. Demonstrated ability to execute an effective, supportive, sensitive approach in
response to needs of staff and client/family.
6. Ability to maintain a knowledge base of Medicare, Medicaid, and Joint Commission
requirements.
