Practice Scope: Saint Alphonsus Hospitalist Physicians typically see CHF, PNA, pancreatitis, stroke, neurologic diagnoses and many other general medical conditions. The Hospitalist team also provides co! nsultation for perioperative management and other subspecialties. There are approximately fifteen new hospital admissions to the team per day. The overall patient mix is approximately 30% adult and 70% geriatric.

Currently, the group consists of ten physicians and five N! urse Practitioners.We greatly value the input and leadership o! f our physicians and encourage each physician to actively participate in department meetings, SAMG leadership council and in matters of practice/service line development.Requirements include a strong internal medicine background with hospitalist training and a desire to develop a practice to support a growing multi-specialty medical group.
