Registered Nurse Coordinator - House Supervisor (PRN)

Location: Burley Idaho

Description: Intermountain Home Care is employing Registered Nurse Coordinator - House Supervisor (PRN) right now, this job will be placed in Idaho. Detailed specification about this job opportunity please read the description below. The RN - Coordinator II provides clinical expertise and leadership to their shift and / or department. Accountable for coordination of unit resources t! o ensure that staffing to census / acuity is appropriate both clinically and financially. As a part of line management, this role will have significant leadership responsibilities, including several of the following: scheduling, maintenance of staff competencies, new employee selection / orientation, constructive discipline, and completion of annual employee performance reviews. The RN Coordinator II supports and enforces unit policies / procedures to ensure safe, efficient and effective patient care.

May work 8 hours on average per week.

Minimum Requirements

Current RN License in state of practice

Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (degree will be verified)

Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

Unit specific certification as required (i.e., ACLS, PALS, etc.)

2 years of clinical nursing experience

Experience in assigned clinical area

Leadership! and mentoring experience

Basic computer skills
Physical Requirements

Carrying, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity, Pushing/Pulling, Seeing, Speaking, Standing, Walking.

Preferred Qualifications

2 years of supervisory experience in a clinical nursing setting.
