Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

Location: Burley Idaho

Description: Intermountain Home Care is currently interviewing Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery right now, this position will be placed in Idaho. The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of pat! ients. The RN provides the best clinical practice in an environment of caring and healing. The RN has the opportunity to care for a broad spectrum of diagnoses which enables them to sharpen their assessment skills, gain a vast knowledge base, and improve critical thinking skills while caring for patients. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. The RN impacts patients' lives every day and truly makes a difference to those they care for.

Entry Rate: $21.15
Benefits Eligible: Yes
Shift Details: Part time night shift (24 hours/week). 12 hour shifts with rotating weekends. Shift hours 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Minimum Requirements

Registered Nurse in the State of Idaho or license eligible

This position requires verifiable current Healthcare Provider or Professional Rescuer CPR certificati! on. An original card must be verified prior to start date or t! he job offer will be withdrawn. For additional information regarding CPR requirements please visit our Job Requirements Page .

Current NRP certification required or must obtain within one year of hire

Excellent interpersonal skills

Typing/computer skills

Critical thinking skills, strong communication

Must be a team player, punctual, able to prioritize

Physical Requirements

A functional work test including 50 pounds lifting is required at time of hire

Preferred Qualifications

One or more years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience

One or more years of previous registered Nurse (RN) hospital experience

Labor and Delivery and/or Post Partum experience preferred.
