Description: Ecumen is employing Medication Manager right now, this vacancy will be placed in Idaho. More details about this vacancy opportunity kindly read the description below. Luther Park at Sandpoint Assisted Living Community is currently accepting applications for a part time Medication Manager position that will begin January 1, 2013. This position will be for 25 hours per week and will be benefit eligible.!

This position will be responsible for the medication management of the residents of the community working under the direction and delegation of the RN Home Care Manager to include but not limited to the following:

• Order, receive and check in all medications; scheduled and PRN
• Ensure all medications have orders/are current, are on-site, are not expired
• Input medication changes/data in QuickMAR system keeping records up-to-date real time
• Fax and receive orders to/from physicians/medical professionals
• Reconcile physician, medical professional and pharmacy faxes/notifications received
• Prepare medication lists for resident medical appointments, 90 Day Assessments and psychotropic reviews
• Prepare 90 Day Assessment, Annual NSA Reviews for licensed nurses
• Track, reconcile and ensure compliance with: 90 Day Assessments, Annual NSA Reviews, Psychotropic med reviews
• Call/fax/correspond ! with physician offices and pharmacies

Skills & Requ! irements

Qualified candidates will have prior training and experience as a Medication Tech. This position requires a flexible schedule which includes: days, evenings, weekends and on-call as business needs require

Candidates will possess excellent written, verbal and customer service skills. Knowledge and hands-on experience with computers and multiple software systems required. Able to multi-task and possess the ability to complete tasks on a consistent and timely basis. Must have a valid and current driver’s license.
