Registered Nurse - Skilled Nursing

Assesses residents for appropriate nursing interventions to provide and maintain the highest practicable level of functioning for each resident. Supervises LPNs and CNAs.
Responsibilities:
Evaluates each residents' needs, conditions, care and assists in developing written nursing care plans for individual patients according to the guidelines established by JCAHO and State regulations.
Takes and carries out physician orders ensuring that residents receive all ordered treatments and medic! ations.
Completes all charting including skilled notes, al! ert charting, monthly summaries, quarterly and care plan updates.
Performs assessments of new patients upon admission to include all required documentation. Discharges residents with appropriate discharge plan and paperwork.
Interacts with and reports to physicians regarding resident conditions.
Interacts with and reports to families regarding resident condition and communications from the physician.
Qualifications:
Current Idaho RN license and current BLS certification.
