POSITION SUMMARY: The Director provides direction and oversight to a specific unit within the medical center. The Director is responsible for effectively managing the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well being of all patients in the assigned department on a 24 hour, 7 days/week basis. The Director is responsible for meeting the strategic initiatives that highlight the 'Five Pillars of Success' (Growth, Service, People, Quality, and Financial). The Director espouses the mission, values and ethics of the corporation, hospital and nursing department and serves as a professional role model. Requires completion from accredited school of nursing.Must maintain current State Registered Nurse license, AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers and hospital mandatory educational requirements.BSN/MSN with minimum 5 years nursing experience with 2 years in Cardiac Nursing; minimum 1 year management experience
