A progressive home care agency is seeking a Home Health RN in beautiful Oregon! Oregon offers a tremendous quality of life with a wonderful climate, low cost! of living and is a great place to call home!!

Summary:
The registered nurse will be caring for patients in their homes and will provide patient care in response to identified needs. Additional functions will be performed in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization.

Assures quality care through compliance with departmental policies and regulatory agency guidelines.

Demonstrates desirable work habits and promotes personal growth and professionalism in the work environment.

Effectively performs the duties and responsibilities of a home health nurse using the nursing process.

Provides and documents quality patient care consistently according to company standards and policy/procedures.

Accepts accountability and responsibility as a member of the department of nursing services.

Addendum - charge nurse - participation in activities that pro! mote quality patient care and efficient functioning of unit.
Experience:
One to two years of experience in nursing.

Education:
Associates of Nursing required, or Nursing Degree from an Accredited Nursing School.

Bachelor's of Science or in Nursing and/or Masters in health care related field preferred.

Certifications / Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse License

Current CPR certification

Special Skills:
Able to assess patient status and identify requirements relative to age specific needs.

Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as, user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files, and windows, effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
