Department of Nursing:
The Department of Nursing at NNU offers a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing and a Master's of Science in Nursing with a nursing education track. The Bachelor of Science program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Educatio! n and the graduate program will have its initial CCNE visit Oc! tober 2010. Students entering the BSN program are required to have a strong background in the arts and sciences before being admitted into the Nursing program. The BSN program consists of six semesters of nursing. The Department of Nursing is housed in the new Thomas Family Health and Science Center and has two new labs equipped with state-of-the-art simulation.

Position Description:
The Department of Nursing is seeking to fill an adjunct nursing faculty position in the BSN program to begin spring 2011. The area of focus is Pediatrics, a junior level course. The lecture portion of the course is one and a half hours of theory on Monday morning. The clinical is two days per week, Tuesday and Thursday at St Luke's Regional Medical Center. One adjunct may teach the lecture portion and another may teach the clinical portion.

Qualifications:
Master's level preferred. Candidates need to be proficient in the clinical skills required for pract! ice in this area. Candidates are to have a high level of integrity, and personal responsibility must be verified. Candidates must demonstrate both written and verbal skills, and effective interpersonal relationship skills. The university requires that all candidates have a Christian perspective (preferably in the Wesleyan tradition), and must be comfortable with an in agreement with the mission and lifestyle values of NNU. Compensation:
