Description: Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center is employing RN - Transitional Care Unit/Rehab right now, this occupation will be placed in Idaho. This position is responsible for performing a variety of treatments, procedures and administering a variety of medications. Assessment of patients for educationa! l, physiological, psychosocial, comfort and safety needs is also required. Planning and coordinating this care is an integral function of this position. Communication with other associates, other departments, physicians and others as necessary is essential.
Qualifications
Requires completion from accredited Registered Nurse program of nursing. Must maintain current Idaho State Professional Nurse license, AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers certification, and hospital and floor-specific mandatories. Recommended 1-year prior experience for Clinical Supervisor or charge nurse.
Has frequent interaction with physicians, nursing staff, other departments, patients and their families. Must have the sensitivity, maturity, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, and to provide support and teaching to patients and their families.
Will follow assigned unit dress code and present a professional image.
The Charge/Clinical Supervisor pos! ition requires leadership abilities and knowledge of dealing w! ith staffing issues. Ability to deal with varied types of patients and families in all situations that may arise.
