Advanced Medical is looking to fill a position for a traveling physical ther! apy assistant in a setting. The chosen applicant will relocate to Boise City, ID to work within one of our prestigious rehabilitation companies. The ideal candidate for this thirteen week assignment will have experience in working in an setting. First hand knowledge in all facets of rehabilitation with the geriatric population is also required.
The PTA job requires all candidates be productive 85-95% during this assignment, while assisting the physical therapist in all facets of patient rehabilitation, from diagnosing the patient’s limitations, developing and implementing the best plan of treatment to assessing the patient’s progress and providing patient education. The physical therapy assistant will have the opportunity to provide our patients with daily therapeutic interventions within our rehabilitation environment in accordance with the treatment plan established in collaboration with the physical therapist, physicians and other health care providers. The appli! cant will gain the experience and insight from participating w! ithin an interdisciplinary team. Candidates should have a working knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and private insurance companies and the ability to complete computerized documentation.
