Surgical Services Director

Location: Coeur d'Alene Idaho

The hospital itself is a Critical Access Hospital and
won the 2011 Top 100 Critical Access Hospital award,
nationally ranked in the 96th percentile for overall
employee satisfaction and ranked over the 90th
percentile in HCAHPS and Core Measures.The hospital is
financially stable and extremely community minded.
The main services are: General Surgery, Orthopedics,
Urology, OB/GYN, Gastroenterology and Podiatry.This
position will be responsible for Surgery, Recovery, Same
Day Center and Central Sterile department.The hospital
has 4 OR suites, handles over 1,100 procedures per year
and have a budget of over $1 Million.
The Director of Surgical Services will report to the
Chief Nursing Officer and! will be responsible for all
functions of the department, ! financial management of the
department, management of human resources, and be a
member of the leadership team.

Job Requirements:

• Current registered nursing license
• BSN required, or to be attained within two years of

hire

• Current BLS, ACLS, and CNOR certification
• Clinical and management experience and documented

competence in Surgical Services

• Must have at least five years of experience in Surgical

Services, with the ability to scrub, circulate, and
assist in surgical procedures.
