Saint Alphonsus Medical Group (SAMG) is a physician led and accountable 280+ provider multispecialty group practice that has an excellent opportunity for an Advance Practice Family Provider (NP/PA) to! work full-time at its Federal Way clinic. Responsibilities in! clude management of the Family Practice health services patient. This involves direct management of the patient including, but not limited to, the following exams, procedures and services: annual and routine wellness exams, acute illness, and chronic disease management, et al. The provider will also ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the medical treatment facility and request timely consultation or referral with appropriate physicians, clinics, or other health resources as indicated.
Saint Alphonsus Medical Group - Federal Way is dedicated to providing services for a full spectrum of family practice patients, with a special focus on the medical needs of Refugees-“New American” families who have resettled in our community. The Federal Way clinic strives to provide respectful, culturally appropriate and equitable care for all families in the Treasure Valley . The clinic ! serves a diverse group of patients who come from around the globe. It utilizes a number of programs to help reduce current barriers to care, such as the Saint Alphonsus Curbside Care vehicle, home visits, partnership with the Saint Alphonsus Infant/Maternal CARE Clinic, Saint Alphonsus Mission Interpretive services and numerous other community agencies. Our providers are passionate about refugee care and they are committed to increasing the quality and access to medical services for these vulnerable patient populations. As part of serving our community’s newly arriving families and as evidenced by the number of aforementioned programs it utilizes to deliver excellent care, the clinic provides an integrative model of care to address barriers to accessing equitable healthcare. This includes the providers working closely with interpreters, social workers, and resettlement agencies to increase continuity among these patient populations.
The ideal candidate will need to co! mmit to this multi-disciplinary team approach to patient care while dem! onstrating our organization’s core values of respect, social justice, compassion, care of the poor and underserved and excellence. As a member of the medical group, you will also need to obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure to maintain and strengthen the Health System’s family medicine program across all communities we serve. The opportunity also requires the granting of privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center (SARMC).
